Office Assistant

Dick Lavy Trucking is currently hiring for the role of Office Assistant. This role is directly related to the finance and accounting department. This position assists with Payroll, Accounts receivable and as the personal assistant to our owner.

Office Assistant Responsibilities :

• Daily bank reconciliation for Dick Lavy Trucking and Subsidiaries
• Verify and post accounts payable accurately Pay vendors by ACH and checks in timely manner Calculate employee hours and assist in weekly payroll, (including paying federal, state, local and school taxes)
• Process and assist employees with 401(K)
• Prepare highway taxes for payment
• Company contact for IT department
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year end reports
• File Management
• Administrative assistance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
