The primary responsibility of this position is to perform the full range of clerical and secretarial duties under general supervision. Specific duties vary considerable according to the department to which assigned. Extent of duties may depend on the experience of the individual employee. Monitors workload on a regular basis, coordinates and performs reviews. Answers phones, greets and directs visitors, helps to collect and coordinate new hire and employee information while maintaining confidentiality.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with courses in typing or keyboarding, plus three years of progressively responsible experience. Requires a moderate degree (55wpm) of proficiency in data entry, word processing, transcription and keyboarding skills. Above average grammar, spelling and composition skills.
