Position Overview: As an Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the front desk of our office. You will be the face of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
