McLane Classic Foods is a premier custom kettle cooked food products company based in Burleson, Texas. Specializing in custom product development, we produce a wide range of kettle cooked recipes for our regional and national chain restaurant partners. Our capabilities include an array of kettle cooked food products including soups, sauces, side dishes and dips.

Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm / Monday thru Friday (Saturdays As Needed)

Role and Responsibilities:

Employee will be responsible for ensuring safety leadership and strategic direction by leading the company in continuous safety improvement efforts.

• Answers the telephone and direct calls appropriately. Greets vendors and visitors.
• Orders and stocks office supplies. Communicates with vendors constantly.
• Sign for provided services and send invoices to finance department. Set up Fed-Ex pickups.
• Receives packages and mail and distributes it to departments.
• Maintains a well-presented lobby. Coordinates activities with HR.
• Data entry for finance department.
• Checks inbox for customer orders, reviews inventory, exports reports for sales orders, ships BOL. Sends out invoices.
• Back-up for the inventory department.
• Back-up for AP and accounting.
• Coordinate with QA for QA releases.
• Any other duty, as requested by Controller, CEO or VP of Operations.

Skills and Requirements:

• Be able to stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time. Be able to sit down for around 8 hours a day.
• Basic literacy (English) and math skills (use of calculator). Bilingual preferred.
• Microsoft Experience (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Must have general bookkeeping knowledge and knowledge.
• Must be proficient in navigating different systems.
• APTEAN experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills, written and orally.
• Must be proficient in using a desktop PC.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail is required.

Additional Notes:

Maybe required to help in other departments. Also, may have to have additional training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
