May Institute is searching for our next qualified full-time Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)! This role would work with children and young adults and a multi-disciplinary team at our ABA School in Randolph, MA.
The schedule is 8am-4pm. (some flexibility available)
Occupational Therapists at May Institute ensure the quality of occupational therapy programs in a school-based setting by supervising and providing consultations on the daily performance of the teaching staff in their occupational therapy work with students.
Some general tasks include completing assessments, writing objectives, developing functional activities to meet the needs of the students, providing in-services to classroom staff, consulting with classroom staff regarding students' OT needs, running groups, providing direct service when deemed necessary, and performing related occupational therapy services as assigned.
The May Institute serves students across the autism spectrum, including those with significant challenging behaviors. The Occupational Therapist will work and interact with these students daily and will be required to implement physical management procedures using Safety Care approved interventions when needed.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved program in occupational therapy
- Valid and current license as an OT in Massachusetts
Requirements:
- Experience with Autism/Developmental Disabilities (1yr+ preferred)
- OTR/L
