Physical Therapist And Occupational Therapist

Overview:
We are seeking to fill two 1 hr timeslots per week. One for PT and the other for OT. We are looking for skilled and compassionate service providers with experience in physical therapy or occupational therapy to join our comprehensive home based program for a young adult with a movement disorder. Therapy gym, equipment and existing goals are in place. Also the possibility for aquatic therapy in season. Days and times are flexible. The work setting is positive, energetic, and productive with many options for creative therapy in a program that has been in place for many years.

Responsibilities:
- Develop additional personalized treatment plan based on needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Use modalities such as heat, cold, massage, stretching, to relieve pain and promote healing
- Demonstrate proper techniques for performing exercises at home with other staff
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain data to track progress

Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy field
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in craniosacral therapy and/or myofascial release is desirable but not necessary

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per hour
