General Responsibilities: Promotes health and safety to all employees of the Community and Casino. Will assist in implementing duties, under the direction of the Occupational Health Nurse/Coordinator. Duties: Will conduct employer's drug screenings at the Health Center and other designated job sites.
Data entry, filing, and report writing as necessary. Maintain and secure all employee's health and safety records. Will work collaboratively with all tribal departments to promote Occupational Health awareness.
Maintain employer health displays and educational materials at designated job sites. Assist in classes in Health Promotion/Disease Prevention. Will contribute newspaper articles to the paper for Occupational Health awareness in the community.
Must maintain the strictest level of confidentiality. Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record. Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work.
Required to attend job related, in-service, meetings, and training to maintain professional and technical knowledge. Must adhere to tribal law and other applicable laws as well as tribal personnel policies and procedures. May be required to satisfactorily complete an exam or other testing requirement(s) to determine skill proficiency.
