Obgyn Medical Assistant

In search of a Medical Assistant for an OB/GYN practice in Athens, GA

• Duties include: greeting and taking back patients, getting weight, blood pressures and heart tones, answering phone calls, ordering and recording labs, scheduling surgeries and mammograms, handling referrals, as well as some triage phone work
   
• We are looking for a team player with GREAT customer service. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred, EMR strongly preferred (NextGen a plus).
   
• Would prefer a Registered or Certified MA w/ OB/GYN Experience

Office size:

• 1 Physician,1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 Medical Assistants, 2 Front office, 1 Billing, 1 Practice Manager, and 1 Ultrasound technologist

Hours Are:

• 32 hours weekly; Mon, Tues, Thurs 8:30am – 5pm, (Wed 8:30am – 12noon, Friday – off on a rotational basis – 2 Fridays off a month)  If you work ½ day on Wed then you work Friday, if you work a full day on Wed, then you’re off on Friday)
• Hourly range depends on experience
