Nurturing and proactive Nanny for Tribeca Family (infant) #FULLTIME0106

Full Time live-out Nanny required for a Tribeca family with a newborn (due in November 2023) starting end of January/early February 2024. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with the child in a warm, stimulating, and age-appropriate way. To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone proactive, attentive and a clear communicator. The family are looking for a true, long term partnership and someone to help guide and support them being first time parents! The ideal candidate is someone fun, flexible with their schedule and experienced with newborn and toddler milestones. Some domestic travel would be ideal (but not required) to the Hamptons. The family does have a Pomeranian and is looking for a Nanny who loves dogs!

Location: Tribeca, NY

Start date: BN/NCS in place through February, family would like a transition period of at least 1-2 weeks. Ideal start date at the end of January/early February.

Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours/week, with availability to flex as needed for earlier/later days, date nights, etc.

Children: Newborn due November 2023

Conditions: $25 - $30 per hour* plus unlimited metrocard, sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• Authorization to work in the US
• A minimum of 5 years experience as a nanny, 5-10 years preferred
• A well-suited demeanor for working infants and with toddlers
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
• Proven tenure with multiple families including excellent references
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
• An open and flexible schedule
• Ability/interest to travel domestically with the family
• Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc)
• A clean background to pass our comprehensive background check and social media checks
• A professional appearance
• Comfortable in a pet friendly environment
