Nursing RN Manager *Sign-on Bonus*

Shodair is looking to hire Nursing RN Managers to join our inpatient Acute and Residential teams. Multiple roles available with different shift options. This Nursing Manager position is responsible for:

• The supervision of quality patient care
• Recognizing and assisting in solving professional supervisory and administrative issues
• Providing nursing management and leadership to RNs, LPNs, Mental Health Technicians and Unit Assistants
• Working with a team of nurse managers to ensure consistency and support throughout the hospital
• Providing clinical expertise in the management of psychiatric care and behavior management techniques
• Ensuring compliance with policy, procedures and all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulatory requirements.

Multiple positions and shifts available. This is an exempt position with a competitive wage and comprehensive benefit package.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has the ability to organize, direct and evaluate the work of nursing and support staff and facility activities on a 24-hour psychiatric unit.
• Can identify and make recommendations regarding operational problems.
• Perform standard duties of an RN and exercise independent judgment in medical emergencies.
• Can demonstrate tact, diplomacy, patience, and compassion.
• Can effectively address personnel issues to promote a productive and healthy work environment.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;

Required- Registered Nurse license and at least 2 years' experience as RN required.

Preferred- Bachelors in Nursing and 2 years supervisory experience strongly preferred; prior pediatric or psychiatric experience beneficial

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

Registered Nurse license in the State of Montana required.

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (PMHBC) strongly preferred.
