Join us for our Nurse Residency Open House event, Thursday April 18th from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. You will be able to explore Nurse Residency and Nurse Tech opportunities, meet with our Unit Managers and Clinical Education leaders to learn more about our opportunities for Newly Licensed Nurses and Nursing Students at AdventHealth Heart of Florida. All nursing students are encouraged to attend!

New graduate RN full-time positions may be offered on the following units (availability fluctuates for each start date based on campus needs):

• Medical/Surgical Specialty (Med/Surg)
• PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• Critical Care*
• Emergency Department*
• Women and Children Specialties*

Qualifications
Qualifications - External
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
Nurse Resident Candidates:

• Must be a graduate of a school of nursing OR must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (CCNE or ACEN preferred).
• Must have less than one (1) year of experience
• Must be graduating in the next year or have graduated within the past year
• Current Florida RN license (may apply without license, but must have license prior to licensure deadline)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Professional Resume.

Nurse Tech Candidates:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (CCNE or ACEN preferred).
