Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Accepting New Grads) - Mount Shasta, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 4 Days schedule
Sign-on & Relocation: Up to $30k
Job Summary: The practitioner assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients; interprets data and develops, implements and documents therapeutic plans; provides education to patients, their families and others.
Job Responsibilities:
· Provides Primary healthcare to the full spectrum of patient of different ages.
· Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients.
· Plans, provides and documents patient care plans.
· Provides prenatal care, family planning services, and screening services.
· Orders and performs diagnostic tests and procedures.
· Prescribes age-specific physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner:
· Active APNP license in the State of California AND
· Active board certification as an NP in Family
· Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
Qualifications for Physician Assistant:
· Active PA board certification AND Active PA license in the State of California
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant applicants must have:
· Active DEA license unrestricted or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
· CPR certification and others as required and relevant to practice area
· Must possess socioeconomic and cultural sensitivity.
