Epic Care is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner to work full-time alongside our dedicated team of health care professionals in our medical oncology service line. Oncology RN or NP experience is preferred but not necessary, we are willing to train motivated individuals as an oncology Nurse Practitioner. Medical Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin language skills are preferred.

- Provide hematology & medical oncology specialty patient care in inpatient and outpatient care settings.
- Perform physical exams and patient observations.
- Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
- Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose health issues.
- Detect changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary.
- Administer medicines and treatments.
- Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
- Consult with healthcare professionals, participate in tumor boards.
- Train patients and families on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention.
