• $30-$35/Hour Plus, Depending on Experience

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares Necessary Medicines for Injection Into Patients for Nuclear Medical Procedures
• Administers IV Injections
• Positions Patient on Procedure Table and Perform Scans
• Checks Isotope Boxes, Departments, Bookkeeping, and Disposal of Decayed Isotopes
• Schedules Patients and Technicians
• Performs Necessary Paperwork Including Documentation
• Responsible for Calling for Repair Service
• Checks Records Daily for Accuracy
• Maintains Files for Inspection by Government Agencies
• May Perform Special Assignments for the Administrative Assistant

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Graduate from an Approved Program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• 1 Year Experience working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• IEMA License Required
• Eligible for Registry by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) Required
• Nuclear Medicine Proficiency Required
• CPR/BLS Certification Required
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Radioactive Medication
