Job Description
Cardiac Imaging Inc, a leading provider of clinical molecular imaging solutions, is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join one of our on-site clients. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, while providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. - Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring proper dosage and safety precautions are taken
- Operate imaging equipment and perform Nuclear Medicine procedures such as PET scans, CT scans, and SPECT scans
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs, before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensure equipment maintenance and quality control standards are met
- Foster a culture of excellence in patient care and customer service
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure, where applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine technology
- Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care principles
- Expertise in imaging equipment operation and maintenance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
