As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using PET scans, sonography, CT scans, and other imaging techniques. Your expertise in Nuclear Medicine will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This will be a mobile position. We have 1 F/T position and 2 per diem openings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating imaging equipment
- Conduct PET scans, sonography, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Analyze images and provide accurate interpretations to physicians for diagnosis
- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed & Registered with NYS Department of Health
- Previous experience working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred
- Proficient in performing PET scans, sonography, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $52.95 - $57.31 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
