General Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Catalog Manager will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and auditing automotive product fitment data stored in our digital catalog. This role supports the launch of new products and the maintenance of existing products.
Job Responsibilities:
Catalog:
- Collaborate closely with product management team to ensure quality and accuracy of catalog data.
- Research features and attributes of vehicles in the US and Canada.
- Maintain the Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard (ACES)
- Maintain Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES) Data, including product attributes, features, benefits, and lifecycle.
- Maintain and distribute digital assets: images (still and 360°), technical/marketing bulletins, warranty/instruction/installation documents, MSDs documents.
- Source, validate and update vehicle in operation (VIO) data.
- Calculate market coverage and identify application gaps.
- Gather, validate, and maintain product application information from internal and external sources.
- Capable of cross-referring the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) / Original Equipment Supplier (OES) / Independent Aftermarket Manufacturer (IAM) part numbers.
- Review information contained in interchange databases to determine where data must be developed or needs additional review.
- Assist with customer inquiries concerning product/PIES information in a timely manner.
- Create and manage existing e-Catalog product content with a focus on automotive product fitment i.e., year, make, model and product attribute data.
- Analyze reported listing discrepancies and provided by users or systems. Take appropriate action by implementing modifications to existing content or add new content to address reported discrepancies.
- Develop and enhance Value Add content. Value Add content includes digital assets, marketing copy, features and benefits, attribute specifications, cross references, product relationships, cross sell content and keyword search alias content.
Market:
- Research Market Intelligence for all product lines sold in North American (market trends, competitors watch...).
- Prepare product information as needed by our sales team for presentations, customer meetings, etc.
- Assist in identifying and quantifying the market potential per product line.
- Competition analysis (range, service, pricing, Unique Selling Point (USP)...) for the product lines sold in the region.
- Prepare the Distribution Analysis for customers in collaboration with the North American Sales team.
- Assist in organizing North American trade shows.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. (Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel)
- Knowledge of automotive or powersport cataloging a plus.
- Knowledge of Tableau a plus
- High degree of accuracy in work performed.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Qaulifcations:
- Professional and technical knowledge: Office Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, etc. SAP, Fluent English language.

- Skills: Coordination of multidisciplinary teams, Strategy Understanding & Roll-out, and Managerial Courage
Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools is also required.
Education: Must possess a bachelor's in marketing, business or related.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years prior related experience, preferably in an automotive industry setting.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Will assist manager with Marketing Staff
Working conditions:
- Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Working in an office environment, with potential exposure to manufacturing and/or warehouse locations. Hybrid.
- Travel: Domestic and international may be required as needed. The candidate will occasionally need to travel to multiple global locations to support project development.
