North America Controller
Description -
The North America (NA) Controller will have the following scope of responsibilities:
Control NA income statement reporting
• NA Integration point between business finance, ICO and market controllership
• Support control processes around e.g. revenue recognition and special contract terms
Responsible for US and Canada balance sheets including but not limited to
• Focal point for any NA audits, internal and external
• account reconciliation oversight and escalation point
• aging clearance oversight and escalation point
• clearing accounts oversight and escalation point
Compliance Lead for NA and lead / facilitate various compliance forum across business and support functions
Act as trusted advisor for
• Stakeholders across several L2 finance organizations (CO, Print, PS, FGO, ICO, CFR etc.)
• business leaders at SVP and VP level (Anneliese / extended staff / support functions)
Team leadership
• Build and maintain a high performance team
• Drive people development and be an ambassador for DE&I
• Active part of NA finance extended leadership
Knowledge & Experience
• Superior ability to provide finance consultation to senior managers within area of expertise
• Superior understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Superior people management skills, including managing teams across geographies including strong leadership and staff development skills
• Ability to build partnerships across functions
• Superior communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences internal and external to HP
• Superior consulting, influence, and negotiation skills while navigating several global teams across multiple functions (FGO, SC included but not limited to)
