Transport Driver
Duties:
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Operate various types of vehicles, including vans and buses
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience in school bus driving, van driving, or bus driving is preferred
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and co-workers
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
- Ability to handle heavy lifting, such as assisting passengers with mobility devices
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations
- Commercial driving experience is desirable but not required
