Warehouse Administrative Assistant
A large distribution company in Vernon, CA, is looking for an organized, self-motivated professional with excellent communications skills to work in our New Jersey warehouse & location.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to email correspondence with a sense of urgency, and managing’s warehouse personnel
- Works closely with the general manager and operations manager
- Develops and implement policies and procedures to improve the effectiveness of warehouse operations
- Contributes and manages inventory and dispatches drivers Oversees production and the recycling department daily
- Communicates with vendors and customers as it pertains to orders or pickups
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years in administrative management and 1-year experience in dispatching
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of efficiency
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Perfect computer, data entry, internet, and Microsoft Office skills
- Skills to handle high-pressure situations
- Organized, customer-focused, pro-active, professional, dependable, and self-motivated
- High school degree required
- College education preferred
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
COMPENSATION: $42,000-$52,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications) Full-time
PHYSICAL SETTING: Office
REMOTE WORK: No
