Night Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist – Freehold, New Jersey

Shore Point Distributing Company, one of New Jersey’s largest beer distributors, is seeking a full-time Night Warehouse clerk. Located in Freehold, we carry an extensive line of national, regional and local craft beers for sale to customers in Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, Warren, Burlington and Mercer counties.

Job Description

The Night Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for checking that all products are loaded correctly onto the trucks and overseeing all product movement in the warehouse. Work week is Sunday thru Thursday 7:30 pm start time. The Night Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist position responsibilities include:

• Verifies items loaded by checking identifying information of items, inspecting condition of items, comparing count of items, and item placement in the truck bays to the load.
• Communicate all issues regarding company property, (forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) to the night manager.
• Communicates and corrects any issues with the layered inventory with respects to quantity or location.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Necessary Skills/Characteristics

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent Math, written, and verbal communication skills.
• This position requires work to be performed in a temperature controlled warehouse and cooler.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
• Must maintain professional behavior.

Starting Pay Rate is $17.00 per hour
