Night Shift St Welder

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of welding work
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Perform welding on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure precise measurements
- Operate forklifts, press brake machines, cranes, and other equipment as needed
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Experience operating forklifts, press brake machines, cranes, and other relevant equipment
- Knowledge of different welding techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding
- Familiarity with measuring tools like micrometers for accurate measurements
- Ability to work with various materials including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, ductwork, and sheet metal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the welding process

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $28.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
