POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Branch Director, and in harmony with the core values of the YMCA, and the established policies, goals and objectives of the YMCA, a Welcome Center Associate greets members of the YMCA and the community upon entrance to the facility, assists members of the YMCA and the community with questions and comments about the facility and our offered services, and performs clerical tasks at the front desk.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Complete all tasks given by supervisor.
- Cleaning to include: Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Bathrooms, Mirrors, Vacuuming, Basic Organizing, Sanitizing Fitness Equipment, etc.
- Ensure that the YMCA is represented in a positive way.
- Maintain a physically and mentally safe environment for all members.
- Attend all required staff meetings and give input on facility issues.
- Adheres to policies related to boundaries with members.
- Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
Education, Training & Work Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
- Must be over the age of 18 years old
- Must be able to pass a Nationwide Criminal and Sex Offender Registry Background Screening.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from shift.

- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
