The WeClean Porter is position is responsible for:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helps maintain cleanliness in every area of the office, Dining room, entrance ways in and out of building, restrooms, break areas, storage areas, and garbage storage areas.
- Practices safe handling and storage of products, cleaning utensils and chemicals in accordance to state law and creates an environment safe and hazard free.
- Follows instructions in accordance to use of chemicals and their disposal, equipment and use of wet floor signs at all times.
- Communicates with teammates and managers in a professional manner.
- Helps maintain all garbage inside and outside of the restaurant by changing out on a regular basis when full, and keeps area where garbage is stored clean and free of pests.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and small wares used in the kitchen.
- Operates a dish machine. Understands how to measure sanitizer and soap levels in a three-bay sink and handles each piece of equipment and small wares safely and properly while washing and storing.
- Maintains work areas in a sanitized and orderly manner in compliance with state health and safety regulations.
- Complies with all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties.
- Reports any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management.
- Attends all mandatory store meetings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required skills and qualifications:
- One year (minimum) of relevant experience required.
- Must have vehicle
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- MUST be flexible to work complete weekends as assigned
- Must speak, read and comprehend English.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Ability to work various shifts as assigned
- Greet all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Support team to reach common goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Additional Requirements and Duties:
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Physical Demands:
- Able to stand through completion of shift.
- Able to bend and kneel for low area cleaning.
- Good Vision, either natural or with corrective lenses.
- Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their Operations Manager.
- Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
