Night Auditor - Full Time

Job Purpose
The Beautiful Springhill Suites by Marriott Charleston Riverview is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor. The purpose of the Night Auditor is to audit all accounts to ensure they are in balance, and prepare final reports for management; acts as the third shift Front Desk Agent ensuring maximum room revenues and guest satisfaction, in line with AURO Hotels' standards.
Essential Job Functions

1. Perform night audit procedures accurately, including the verification and balancing of all guest and departmental accounts.
2. Post and reconcile room charges, taxes, and other fees for each guest stay.
3. Verify the accuracy of guest folios and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
4. Prepare and distribute daily financial reports, including but not limited to revenue summaries, occupancy reports, and guest account statements.
5. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures during the night shift.
6. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
7. Assist in the check-in and check-out process for late-night arrivals and early-morning departures.
8. Coordinate with other departments to handle guest requests and room assignments.
9. Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests by monitoring the hotel premises during the night hours.
10. Perform end-of-shift duties, such as closing the day's transactions, preparing the next day's reports, and updating reservation systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or hospitality-related certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in front desk operations or night audit within the hotel industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using hotel property management systems and related software (e.g., Opera, Fosse, or similar).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills to accurately balance financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently during the night shift.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation :
Starting Pay: $16/hr + Benefits
