Looking for a candidate who has NextGen development experience (development experience in templates, interfaces, and documents would be ideal) and can write queries and scripts in SQL. Requirements: Senior NextGen EMR Developer is responsible for the design, development and support of NextGen based EHR templates and related SQL code. Responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit, client program, or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Develop NextGen EHR templates and documents based on specifications Perform complex analysis and troubleshooting in support of various EHR technical processes and SQL coding. Maintains active relationships with clinical team to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings. Supports the EMR implementation process, including build, testing, training, and go live of the EHR system. Implement interfaces between EHR system and external systems such as Lab information system, PACs, Pharmacy, etc. Identifying solutions to non-standard requests and problems. Solving moderately complex application related problems. Analyzing technology solutions options and provides feedback to appropriate parties. Assists management in establishing reporting requirements and develop reports from the NextGen database. Facilitates group sessions as needed to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues. Works with CareMore clinical staff to evaluate current processes and implement technology solutions to reduce costs and improve staff efficiency and patient care. Develops and defines application Product and objectives. SQL Code updates, stored procedures, and performs technical design reviews and code reviews. Develops and maintains cheat sheets, job aids, technical documents and training guides. Prepares technical and/or functional specifications. Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan. Test / peer review completed NextGen templates, NextGen documents, triggers, and code that is ready for production / client release. Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary. Support production release after hours as needed. Assesses current status and supports data information planning. Application support services for NextGen EMR. Supports the implementation and continued operation of NextGen EMR/EPM and related health care technologies. Troubleshooting service requests. Maintains technical development environment. Monitor data integrity in the EMR reconcile incoming data with lab orders sent through Rosetta Interface research and correct errors, open tickets. Coordinates on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of system. Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium sized projects. Working knowledge of SAFe Agile framework is a plus Qualifications: Minimum of seven years of experience supporting technology systems. Minimum of five years of experience working in healthcare or another related field. Minimum 3 years of NextGen EMR / EPM Ambulatory experience, specific experience with a Practice Management System and Electronic Medical Record (HER) Template Editor and Document Builder Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, lead multiple small projects and provide troubleshooting support. Multi-dimensional required. Multi database and/or multi language preferred. Preferred Experience: SAFe Agile experience is preferred
