About WBTV:
WBTV is looking for a weekend evening anchor who will also report 3 days a week. This person will excel on-camera as a reporter and anchor, while also being a newsroom leader who has the ability to create unique opportunities across all social media platforms in connection with the role.

The ideal candidate is a strong newsroom leader with keen news judgment. This person will serve as weekend evening anchor, while also a reporter 3 days a week. Additionally in this role, the candidate will serve the needs of the Charlotte community by reporting on stories that matter as filtered through the "On Your Side" brand.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Three years minimum experience as a reporter or anchor in a television newsroom.
- Aggressive in breaking news coverage, along with proven, demonstrated ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that align with the "On Your Side" brand.
- Strong writing and the ability to tell engaging stories through visual mediums are essential.
- A college degree is preferred, but not required.
