Divisional Lead RN Preceptor, Home Health
Would you like to use your clinical expertise and mentoring skills to lead, inspire and motivate Home Health Clinicians to provide exceptional care? The Moccasin Division is seeking a Divisional Preceptor (RN) for our Medicare Certified Home Health Offices in Wilmington, Marlborough, Plymouth, Dedham, Dartmouth, and Hyannis, Massachusetts. In this exciting, newly created role, you will work collaboratively with the Clinical Educator to assist with new hire orientation and training. You will also serve as a mentor and a resource to preceptors in each of the services offices within the Moccasin footprint.
As the Divisional Preceptor you will guide service office preceptors to educate field staff in delivering exceptional client service and quality clinical care while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. You will work with the service offices throughout the division to enhance clinical capabilities by providing classroom and hands-on education and to create a warm, organized and supportive environment. In this role, you will conduct supervisory/assessment and training visits with clinicians throughout the the state of Massachusetts. Additionally, you will continue to perform home health visits, as appropriate, to maintain your clinical expertise.
As a Divisional RN Preceptor your day may look like this!
- On-board new clinicians to build and manage their caseload of patients.
- Lead, inspire and motivate others to provide exceptional care.
- Visit our adult and geriatric clients for supervisory/assessment/training visits throughout designated territory.
- Assist Clinical Educators with new hire orientation and training the new employees.
- Work closely with service offices to create a warm, organized, and supportive environment.
- Serve as a mentor and resource to office level preceptors.
- Work with service offices to enhance clinical capabilities by providing classroom, lab, and hands on education.
- Admission/visit coverage depending on division/office coverage needs
If you're a Registered Nurse (RN) with the following skills, this could be your dream job!
- Registered Nurse preferred (with current MA license), with at least 1 year of FT Home Health field experience (or equivalent) managing a caseload
- Strong clinical skill set with the confidence to teach others
- Experience working in the community as well as Senior Living Continuing Care Communities (preferred)
- Willing to travel to on-board and mentor new employees
- Flexibility to be in the field from 8:30-5p to complete documentation and follow-up
- Ability and willingness to perform SOC assessments to help build the new employee's caseload
- Ability to on-board multiple employees at once in different phases of orientation
- Excellent working relationship with regional educators and service office clinical/rehab managers
- Critical thinking skills and a flexible mindset
- Passion for mentoring, educating, and onboarding clinicians
- Supervisory experience preferred
