Job description

As a key member of the McKee Homes team, the New Home Sales Consultant plays a pivotal role in fostering strong, productive relationships with trade partners, business associates, and all internal departments. Leading with a commitment to process improvement and implementation, the New Home Sales Consultant ensures quality performance that enhances the quality of life for McKee associates, homeowners, customers, and trade partners. The primary focus involves exclusively promoting and selling McKee Homes, staffing model homes, following up on leads, and contributing to the entire sales process.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goal.
  • Within 60 days of employment, must complete the required Sales Training
  • All New Home Sales Consultants are required to participate in Company staff meetings, region phone-a-thon and events relative to their communities/region.
  • Adhere and participate in the Team McKee Experience process to continuously engage our home buying customers and realtor partners.
  • Accompany and demonstrate the Model Home, showcase homes (which may be at various stages of construction), and/or available home-sites. Present the McKee Builder story to all new prospects.
  • Provide timely and consistent follow-up with current buyers from initial contact to after closing. Records must be maintained of all communication in LASSO.
  • Expand you sphere of influence in the local community to self-generate sales from realtor/co-broker businesses, referrals, and self-prospecting
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace, including product, site, local community, sales, advertising and demographics. Capture data in CMA form.
  • Monitor and record daily traffic and enter prospect into LASSO CRM.
  • Participate in neighborhood promotions, marketing programs and events
  • Participate in weekly sales/builder community meeting to discuss (but not limited to) backlog, community appearance and homes under construction.
  • Attend sales meetings to review neighborhood status and sales strategies/role play.
  • Self-neighborhood marketing to include social media posts, videos, and other content.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, electronic stamp machines, and online systems. This job also operates in a construction site environment. This role is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are according to current model home hours.
TRAVEL
Some travel is expected for this position as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent / Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Valid Driver's License because driving is an essential function of this position Previous sales experience preferred
