Program Highlights:

• 🕒 Full-time, Mixed Shifts with Rotating Weekends
• 📅 Start Dates: January 15, 2024; March 4, 2024; April 22, 2024; July 15, 2024
• ⏳ Duration: 10-13 weeks

Program Details:

• Part 1: StaRN Training (5-7 Weeks):

  • 🎓 Instructor-led classroom training (offsite)
  • 💰 Paid training with certifications
  • 🌐 State-of-the-art simulation
  • 📘 Self-directed online learning
  • 💉 Meditech Training and Validation
  • 🗓️ Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40-hour work week (8hr days)

• Part 2: StaRN Clinical Preceptorship (7 Weeks):

  • 🏥 Conducted at the hospital
  • 💰 Paid training at the New Graduate RN hourly rate
  • 👩‍⚕️ One-on-one preceptorship
  • 📊 Regular development meetings
  • 📅 Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts on the sponsoring unit

• Part 3: HCA Residency Program (1st Year):

  • 🌟 Transition to full-time roles after StaRN Program completion
  • 📚 Monthly professional development
  • 📝 Residency seminars
  • 🏆 Evidence-based capstone project

Qualifications:

• 🎓 Recent graduate from an accredited Nursing School (within the past year)
• 📜 Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 🩺 Active Registered Nurse license in Florida or a Compact/Multi-State RN license
• 🏥 No prior acute care hospital RN experience required
• ⏰ Flexibility to work day or night shifts based on unit needs
• ✅ 100% mandatory attendance throughout the initial StaRN Training Program
