Import Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a highly driven Import Operations Coordinator excited to launch an exciting career in international logistics. This team-oriented individual will be responsible for supporting our Import Operations team in a variety of ways to help provide a standard of excellence to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor department email inbox and distribute documentation (pre-alerts, vendor and agent invoices, etc.) to Import Operations Specialists
• Review and verify pre-alert information and documentation
• Assist in processing AP invoices (vendor/agent) within operating system (CargoWise)
• Assist in timely posting of AR invoices to ensure billing is completed accurately and forwarded to customers as outlined in SOP
• Build relationships with all customers, overseas agents and service providers
• Assist the day-to-day operations of the import department to ensure that customer requirements are met
• Daily organization and review of files within CargoWise
• Responsible for timely update of shipment milestones within CargoWise
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Minimal experience in Import Operations preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• CargoWise experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Detail-oriented
• Self-Motivated
