The Neurodiagnostic Technologist II (EEG Tech II) performs high quality EEGs (routine and long-term). Has the ability to scan, correlate, and clip study information. Facilitates all aspects of study completion and reporting within the department. Possesses strong well-developed communication and technical skills.
You will perform all duties and responsibilities for eletroencephalography
under general technical supervision. Those techniques include but are not limited to Nerve Conduction studies, Visual, Evoked Responses and Electronystagmographic tests.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic program required. Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred.
Licensure: Certification from an accredited training program required.
Experience: Three to five years experience in Neurodiagnostics preferred.
