System Administrator

Position: System Administrator/IT Analyst

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Zoom and other software licenses, ensuring seamless integration at the company level. This role will play a crucial part in optimizing collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zoom, and Motion to enhance organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. License Management:

· Administer and manage Zoom licenses, ensuring compliance with company requirements.

· Keep track of license usage, renewal dates, and proactively address any licensing issues.

· Evaluate and recommend improvements to optimize license allocation.

2. Integration:

· Implement and manage company-wide integration of collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, Zoom, and Motion.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and interoperability between different systems.

· Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams as needed.

3. System Administration:

· Perform system administration tasks related to Zoom and other collaboration tools.

· Ensure the availability, security, and performance of the systems under management.

· Collaborate with other IT teams to implement best practices in system administration.

4. User Support:

· Provide technical support to end-users for Zoom and related tools.

· Conduct training sessions for employees on effective use of collaboration tools.

· Address user inquiries and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

5. Security and Compliance:

· Implement and maintain security measures for Zoom and associated systems.

· Stay informed about industry best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator with a focus on collaboration tools, particularly Zoom.
• Strong understanding of license management principles and practices.
• Experience with company-level integration of collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Zoom, Motion).
• Familiarity with security protocols and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Zoom Administrator, Jira Administrator) will be a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
