Job Summary
- A Network Field Engineer will assist with the implementation, maintenance, and support of our growing network infrastructure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect and install network equipment and new technologies
- Commission new points of presence, including cabinets, racks, AC and/or DC power systems, connectivity, and network and other electronic equipment
- Diagnose and resolve onsite malfunctions
- Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
- Troubleshoot fiber optic connectivity issues following industry best practices
- Work independently to complete projects to specification and on schedule

Job Qualifications
- Education: 2 year technology focused technical degree or greater
- Experience: 2 years of field experience or related experience with the following:
- One or more Network Operating System CLI, i.e. Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, etc.
- Optical networks and related components, tools, and procedures
- Telecommunications AC and DC power systems
- Must pass a drug screening
- May be required to pass a technical skills assessment
- Must possess a valid Driver's license with a clean driving record
