Network Engineer W/ Dnac Expertise And Data Center

Data CenterNetwork Engineer with DNAC expertise.

This position is hybrid. Onsite requirements to the Data Center twice a week in Baltimore.

Job Responsibilities:

· Network and Data Center Design with strong knowledge of DNAC

· Must be strong with Cisco Data Center Solutions including Nexus 9000, ACI, in spine/leaf architecture and BGP

• Configure WAN/LAN technologies in a government environment

· Experience with Cisco technologies including Cisco HSRP, Cisco VRF Lite, Cisco VPC, Cisco LACP, Cisco Fabric Path, Zone Security, and Firewalls

• Document network diagrams with both logical and physical connections

• Develop and document network provisioning requirements and policies

• Provide capacity planning assistance to develop network resource requirements projections

· Perform infrastructure design, strategy, and services and participating in the implementation of computer system, network, storage, and security infrastructure

• Experience with Cisco Nexus Routing and ASR

• Understand routing in multi service environment

• Support QOS, Multicast, and content delivery

· Understanding of Network Monitoring systems

· Develop and document requirements and policies for network monitoring and problem management.

• Provide support as Tier 3 escalation as needed

• Identify network problems and resolve in accordance incident and problem management services, polices, procedures and SLRs

• Coordinate resolution of circuit problems with third parties, including public carriers, ISP and city/county affiliates

Job Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in IT or CS discipline preferred

• CCNP/CCIE

• Experience with Cisco Data Center with DNAC

• Strong experience in Cisco Routing and Switching including knowledge of MultiCast, QoS, IOS Secrity, and content delivery

• VPN and Wireless LAN experience a plus
