Job Description
• Perform service/ installation of various security management solutions including, Electronic Article Surveillance systems (EAS), and RFID systems
• Must be able to install, configure, and test equipment and devices associated until final product is complete
• Able to run low voltage cabling and or CAT 6 type wiring as required for installation or service
• Evaluates, diagnoses, troubleshoots, re-configures, and tests equipment and devices associated with repairs, as necessary
• Performs upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality and usability
• Performs computer programing of EAS systems as needed
• Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently
• Read and understand drawings and prints to install the correct equipment in the correct locations
• Terminate equipment and field devices while completing and verifying the operation from the field to the reporting systems
Requirements:
• Have 1+ years’ experience with EAS installation and or EAS service
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history)
• If you do not have hand tools & PPE, you will need to obtain them
• Up to 75% travel, as necessary which may include air travel
