Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and administer network systems and applications including:
- Advanced networking: Routing, SD-WAN, ASE, BGP, DNS, Cisco IOS, QOS
- Internet: Fiber, Fixed Wireless, 5G
- UC: Cloud VoIP, IP PBX, SBC, 3CX and related hosting
- Specialized VyOS/Ribbon/Hepic
- Endpoints and related systems: IP Phone, WiFi
- Security: Firewall, IPS, IDS, Cyber, MFA, Content Filter
- Servers, OS, Storage: AWS, VMWare, Linux, MS
- MS365, Windows Server, AD, VMWare, DNS, major Cloud Hosting providers
- Evaluate, test and report on new technologies
- Troubleshoot and debug SIP using system logs, traces and packet captures, wire shark
- Maintain Cloud infrastructure integrity, primarily in AWS environment
- Analyze and evaluate network performance to optimize traffic flows, security and processes
- Engage with leadership on high level activities
- Cross-team collaboration and support for Sales Engineers, Project Managers and Technicians
- Provide escalation support, training and mentoring for team members
- Network diagramming for presale concept, post sale support and technical documentation
- Rotating on-call duty
- 3+ Years VoIP Experience
- Extensive VoIP and SIP experience
- Advanced IP networking, routing and switching experience, CCNA or equivalent knowledge
- Ability to administer AWS infrastructure
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot various hardware and software
- Ability to read and understand manufacturer documentation
- Experience in troubleshooting and installing computer hardware
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- MS Windows and Linux server operating systems
