The Role:
As a Network Engineer you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for the stability and security of our servers, as well as configuration of network equipment to optimize network performance. This position requires a balance between technical competence, innovative thinking, and a customer-first attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain the company’s network servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure, install, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Perform and monitor routine system backups.
- Troubleshoot network issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network enhancements and upgrades.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure the network infrastructure remains cutting-edge and secure.
- Assist IT team with desktop support as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
- Technical expertise in software management including VMware, Windows Server, Aruba Switching / Aruba Wireless, Fortinet Firewalls, Microsoft Azure / O365 / Exchange Online, SIEM.
- Holds various IT Certifications and has AS400 experience.
- Team player and collaborator.
- Organized and a self-starter that takes initiative.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and/or weekend hours based on business demands.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training.
- At least 5+ years of network administration experience.
Physical Requirements:
The Network Engineer role demands physical agility and stamina to ensure optimal network performance and maintenance across the resort. Successful candidates will be required to navigate various environments within the resort, including technical spaces and outdoor areas, sometimes under challenging conditions. This includes the ability to move freely, handle and install network equipment, lift materials up to 50 pounds without assistance, and work in different weather conditions. Good vision, manual dexterity, and effective communication skills are essential. Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is also required to support our 24/7 operation.
