Job Description
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team.
The Network Engineer is a client-facing leader in the organization. This person will be responsible for the design and delivery of network build, network support, network improvements and integration projects. This role also has management responsibility for Engineers, Associate Engineers, and in some cases technicians.
This Engineer will have demonstrated experience presenting to clients and representing the organization as a subject matter expert. They will drive the design, implementation and support of Network solutions across a wide variety of environment types.
Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring quality of services delivered for Support and Project clients. This engineer is responsible for delivering industry best practices with regard to configuration, security, documentation of Network design, configuration, installation and integration; this includes driving these best practices across teammates and direct reports.
This position is paying between $100,000-$135,000 based on experience.
Access to a Vehicle on a daily basis is required.
Responsibilities
- Client-facing escalation lead/problem solver for Network outages and performance issues
- Design and Delivery of Network build, integration and optimization projects
- Collaborate with clients leadership and support teams to determine best value approach for each client
- Drive best practices for Network support, design, configuration, installation and integration
- Collaborate with Director of Engineering to understand and identify talent needs and capacity
- Collaborate with Director of Networking to identify and drive best practices
- Monitor and manage team progress and quality
- Continually work to advance our internal talent and capabilities around Networking
Qualifications
- Exceptional Customer Service skills, presentation skills and professional presence
- 5+ years’ experience as a Networking lead
- Cisco CCNA, CCDA/CCNP/CCDP - and demonstrated experience or certification with other Networking platforms (Fortinet, Aruba, Meraki, HP, Extreme, etc.)
- Command of Networking best practices and standards for Information Security
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, superior attention to detail and quality awareness, and professional judgment
- Time management skills, adept at setting and managing priorities
- A problem solver who is able to self-manage and motivate others
- Experience with Excel, MS Word, Visio and PowerPoint
- Solid working knowledge Microsoft Platform Systems, Cloud Computing Topologies (Azure) and Office 365
