We are seeking a Network Administrator in support of a government contract for the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, Wargaming Division. Position located in Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities include:
- Update and maintain the entire Wargaming network infrastructure to include switch configurations and updates
- Troubleshoot wargame network connectivity to ensure network operations during wargame execution
- Provide cyber security and Information Assurance services in compliance with DOD IA policies, processes, and procedures
- Support physical security policies, processes, and procedures
- Support the government in executing and maintaining a Site Security Plan
- Perform security patches for network devices
- Configure auditing mechanisms to monitor, review, and safeguard network log files and provide reports to the government
- Configure and manage network access controls, adhering to government account management policies
- Create, update, maintain and submit network management and security diagrams and documentation to the government
- Perform preventive maintenance on network components
- Use STIG Viewer to ensure switches' compliance with DoD IA policies
- Use PuTTY to console into switches in order to update and configure switches using Cisco commands
- Submit network related tickets on the behalf of the Division for NIPR and SIPR networks that the division relies on for day-to-day operations
