HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, CCNA, Security +
• Required Experience: 5+ years of related IT networking experience and team leadership experience
• Required Technical Skills: Routing and Switching concepts, Network troubleshooting
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance required
• Required Skills and Abilities: Must be able to serve as a team leader and people manager and have strong communication (written and verbal) and problem solving skills.
• Preferred Skills: Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role, hands on experience with Cisco networking hardware, and strong knowledge of networking concepts
• Location: On Customer Site in Newington VA
• US Citizenship Required due to the TS/SCI clearance requirement

Network Administrator, Advisor

HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Will serve as a team leader and people manager
- Manages the functionality and efficiency of computer networks (LAN/WAN). Monitors data traffic/network performance and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission. Troubleshoots and resolves problems.
- Provides advice and training to end-users and less-experienced network personnel
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network incidents and problems.
- Utilize STIG configuration standards to harden training networks to mitigate vulnerabilities and lower the risk in cybersecurity.
- Provides network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
- Determines network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Maintains network to meet Enterprise Service Availability and Service Level Agreement requirements.
- Configure networking equipment as needed
