We are a progressive and growing company offering an excellent opportunity for a .NET Web Developerto join our Technology team and become an integral part of Hudson Valley Lighting Group’s exciting future.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Web Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable web applications using the .NET framework.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with team members to conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and adhere to coding standards.
• Front-End Development: Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Database Design and Management: Create and optimize database objects, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Integration: Work closely with other teams to integrate web applications with existing systems and services.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Diagnose and resolve issues, bugs, and errors promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in web development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a focus on web development.
• Strong proficiency in C# programming language.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC and/or ASP.NET Core.
• Front-end development skills with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar.
• Database experience with SQL Server or other relational database systems.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience with RESTful API development and consumption.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• US citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available).
