Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications in support of the Department of Education's objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and solutions for the Department of Education.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and implement necessary changes or enhancements.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve development processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and related technologies.
• Experience with front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on government contracts or projects.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Certifications in .NET development or related technologies.
