Job Overview
Eos Group, Inc. is one of the leading firms in providing professional services and software to the construction industry. We are seeking to hire a dynamic .NET Software Engineer to join our team. You will be required to engineer a top-quality code base using modern techniques and best practices to deliver amazing applications for our web products. The ideal candidate will also have outstanding communication and collaboration skills and will be expected to participate in design and planning discussions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and support highly complex web applications using the latest technologies and tools
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed, scale and stability
- Write high quality code using the latest best practices
- Ability to successfully work in a small, innovative and creative team
- Stay current with the latest technologies and be a life-long learner
- Account for and report on possible project challenges including risks, time, resources and scope
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility etc.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as Full Stack software engineer
- Excellent .NET development expertise
- Deep SQL knowledge and experience
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Outstanding communication abilities
- Proven ability to meet challenges and overcome them
- Experience developing enterprise solutions
- Deep knowledge of software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, MVC)
- Experience in developing cloud hosted applications a plus
- Familiarity with system security best practices
- Knowledge of current DevOps principles and practices
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- Ability to work remotely and coordinate with a geographically diverse team
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Computer Science, CIS, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience deigning and integrating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with SignalR
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience in unit/integration testing
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Full stack experience
- TFS/Azure DevOps
- Experienced with Git
