EducationBSN with a commitment to attain a Master's degree in 5 years.
Experience
At least 2 years of leadership experience
Skills
· Substantial interpersonal and verbal communication skills required in order to provide effective leadership to assigned staff, maintain effective contacts with patients, visitors, physicians and a variety of Medical Center personnel.
· Mentoring and development of staff.
· Analytical skills necessary to organize and oversee the work of others and to develop and administer sound policies, procedures, budgets and nursing practices.
Licensures, Certifications
· Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland.
· Completion of "Healthcare Provider" CPR course.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk almost constantly (up to 80% of work time) and occasionally (up to 20% of work time) life and position patients.
Working Conditions
· Normal healthcare environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like.
· Up to 50% of work time exposed to adverse working conditions due to performance of certain patient care activities.
