As the contract’s Watch Commander, on a 24x7x365 rotating work schedule, the candidate will have the following Duties:
- Report directly to the contracts’ Operations Manager
- Perform and think independently and on own initiative with minimum supervision
- Conduct compound security checks
- Responsible for the facilities professionalism and timely communication with both customers and higher authority
- Ensures the balance of work load to an integrated support team managing the daily (24x7x365) care and operations of equipment located in multiple geographically separated locations
- Maintains Standard Operating Procedures and develops procedures to assure maximum availability of operational assets
- Help resolve disputes or disagreements
- Ensures Operators are properly trained, executing, and reporting in a timely manner
- Provides timely reports and notifications on Equipment Status, Trend Analysis, Hazardous Conditions (HAZCON), and Outages for all contract sites
- Ensures all events occurring on shift are accurately documented in the Master Station Log (MSL)
- Review upcoming Authorized Service Interruptions
- Work closely with the management staff to improve efficiencies and processes
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Bachelors of Information Systems Management
- 15 years of general experience with minimum of 10 years specialized technical experience
- Must be minimally IAT Level II certified with appropriate baseline security and operating system/computer environment (OS/CE) certification in accordance with DoD 8570.1-M and SECNAV-M 5239.2).
- Obtain EKMS 301 certification within 30 days of hire
- Obtain 3M 301 Maintenance PQS within 90 days of hire
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs a distance of 50 feet horizontally and 35 lbs vertically a distance of 50 feet without resting.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $96470 - $164010

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
