Nature-Focused Inn Seeking Housekeeping + Guest Services Professional

We are a small, six suite historic inn located on the border of Saguaro National Park West. Our housekeeping team creates carefully prepared spaces for guests to be able to slow down, get in tune with themselves and their natural surroundings, and experience a stretch of days that are equally restorative and inspiring.

The housekeeping role is a part-time, contract position and all shifts take place between 11:00 am (guest check out time) and 3:00 pm (guest check in time). Applicants should have the ability to commit one to two days a week consistently. Additional shifts are available as guest bookings allow.

Housekeepers maintain assigned areas in a clean, considerate, and detail-oriented manner as directed by the onsite property manager. An interest in and eye for design details and styling is welcome and encouraged. We utilize natural, plant-based products whenever possible and all work with a respect for the environment and desert landscape we’re set within.

Requested Experience

• One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently and communicate clearly during high-volume turnovers.
• Able to maintain consistent and regular shift availability, additional and last-minute shift availability is greatly appreciated.
• Ability to climb stairs, carry laundry and cleaning supplies up to 20lbs.
• Own or have access to a mobile device or tablet to utilize our scheduling app, and possess a personal email account.
• Have access to reliable personal transportation (we are located appx 30 minutes west of downtown Tucson outside of public transportation access.)
• Must have compassion and respect for the flora and fauna throughout the property.

Housekeeper compensation is based on flat room rates that equate to a $22.50 hourly base pay rate. On any given day, no more than two rooms will be assigned per 4-hour shift. Shifts take place during the hours of 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to align with guest departure and arrival times.
