 We are accepting applications for a Natural Resources Administrator 2 within the Office of Real Estate & Land Management (REALM), headquartered at Fountain Square, assigned to Franklin county. What you will do... 

• Plan, develop, and manage real estate functions in the Division of Real Estate and Land Management (REALM) for departmental Natural Resources real estate programs.
• Successfully manage and complete real estate transactions in accordance with the REALM's Real Estate Policy (e.g. land sales and acquisitions, donations, leases, licenses, easements, transfers, exchanges, rights of entry, articles of dedication, memorandums of understanding, Director's journal entries, deeds).
• Assist land holding divisions with Natural ResourcesProperty Management and real estate needs, including the Canal Land Program. Manage REALM real estate databases related to departmental facilities and land holdings.
• Coordinate contract services for appraisals, appraisal reviews, and title services. Coordinate and negotiate the terms and conditions of real estate transactions with land holding divisions, property owners, governmental entities, Natural Resources conservancy groups and utility companies.
• Locate, analyze, and evaluate property boundaries, title, ownership records, and land use restrictions.
• Serve as a liaison with other divisions and state, local, and federal agencies. Represent the Department at public, governmental, and external functions related to departmental real estate interests.

54 months of training or 54 months of experience in the Natural Resources specialty indicated under job duties within approved position description AND valid driver's license. 
-OR completion of an undergraduate major core program AND 30 months of experience in the Natural Resources specialty indicated under job duties within approved position description AND valid driver's license. 
-OR completion of a graduate major core program AND 18 months of experience in the Natural Resources specialty indicated under job duties within approved position description AND valid driver's license. 
-OR 6 months of experience as a Natural Resources Administrator 1, 22911, in assigned area AND valid driver's license. 
-OR equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above. NOTE: If assigned to work as Law Enforcement Officer, must also hold Ohio Peace Officers Training Council certificate. For positions assigned to perform law enforcement duties, applicants must successfully pass background check by appointing authority that includes polygraph, psychological & medical examination. Applicant must demonstrate physical fitness as outlined in department directive. Final applicant accepted for position will be required to submit to urinalysis to test for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Applicant with positive test result will not be offered employment per Section 123:1-76-09 Ohio Administrative Code.
