SalaryThis employee will be tasked with assisting Region II Unit A personnel with the comprehensive management of WMAs, public dove fields and facility upkeep and maintenance.
Job Duties Include:
- Posting boundary and WMA signs.
- Grading, mowing, repairing and daylighting roads as needed.
- Planning and implementing forest management activities at Woodbury, Marsh and Pee Dee Station WMAs.
- Trapping and banding doves.
- Collecting CWD samples.
- Completing a variety of wildlife surveys as assigned.
- Completing routine maintenance of Region 2 facilities and operational equipment.
- Completing routine maintenance of Marsh WMA clubhouse.
- Assisting with/conducting public hunts on areas within the Unit.
- Maintaining accurate records and submitting reports as required.
A high school diploma and two (2) years of related experience in wildlife, fisheries or agricultural work; or an associate degree in the technical sciences.
