Our client is one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world across the United States and Canada helping both local businesses and national brands reach broad audiences every day. The company is now expanding into other states in their transit advertising division in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
JOB:
The Transit Territory Manager role is pivotal in managing the performance and sales activities within a designated market. This role is tasked with achieving sales targets outlined by established market projections. Apart from overseeing administrative and operational aspects, this position requires innovative thinking to deliver successful outcomes for clients and the organization. In most scenarios, the Market Manager serves as the sole employee at the location. Daily responsibilities include developing and growing a personal account portfolio in the designated market or territory, oversee sales operations, inventory management, and client interactions in the assigned area, achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, maintain consistent communication with operations management, administrative staff, and the general Sales Manager, cultivate positive relationships with pertinent transit districts and employ innovative strategies to achieve positive results for clients, employees, and the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of successful sales and sales management experience in the advertising sector
- Demonstrated B2B sales expertise
- Proven track record of successful sales to local and direct clients
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proficient understanding of local and national media trends
- Capability to work autonomously and execute tasks with minimal supervision
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years experience in marketing, customer relations, and/or project management preferred
- Initiative-taking attitude towards various projects and assignments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word for drafting business correspondences, presentations, and proposals
